PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court March 16:

* Brian Keith Stanley, 286 Westwood Way, Washington, pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $180.25. A charge of driving on a suspended license was dismissed.

* Caylin Richelle Greathouse, 238 Jo Mar Drive, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license, and having no registration and fined $450.50.

* Greg Warner Bradshaw, 608 41st St., Vienna, pleaded no contest to trespassing and fined $180.25.

* Alexis Dawn Montgomery, 1386 Lick Run, Smithville, was arraigned on a charge of second-offense shoplifting, less than $500, and released on $500 bond.

* Scott Allen Phillips, 515 Myrtle St., Paarkersburg, was arraigned on charges of obstruction (false statement) and fleeing on foot from an officer and released on $1,000 bond.

* Austin Cole Rizer, 11337 Southern Highway, Elizabeth, was arraigned on a charge of driving while impaired with a BAC equal or greater than .15 and released on $2,500 bond.

* Indica Arie Riel, 1030 George St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of third-offense shoplifting and held on $5,000 bond.

* Cody D. Smarr, 290 Ridgeway Dr. Apt. 1, Marietta, was arraigned on a charge of fleeing while DUI and fleeing with reckless indifference and held on $150,000 bond. He was also arraigned on charges of having no insurance and driving on a suspended license.

* Darrell Alan Boggs, 117 Locust St., Belpre, pleaded guilty to two counts of unlawful restraint of another person, fined $180.25 and placed on six months of home confinement.

* Todd Joseph Long, Smithers, W.Va., had a preliminary hearing waived on a charge of being a prohibited person in possession of a concealed firearm and soliciting a minor via a computer. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.

* Robert Charles Wilfong, 341 Spruce St., Morgantown, pleaded guilty to making a false statement to officers, fined $170.25 and sentenced to seven days in jail which was ruled as time served. He had charges of public intoxication and trespassing dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Sadie Dellilah Fern Atherton, 969 Two Mile Run Road, Cutler, pleaded guilty to driving a vehicle while impaired with a BAC of less than .15, possessing a controlled substance without a valid prescription, fined $549.50 and sentenced to 90 days in jail which was suspended and she was placed on one year of unsupervised probation. He had a charge of purchasing, consuming, selling, serving or possessing alcoholic liquor being under 21-years-old, having no insurance dismissed.

* Danny Joe Quinn, 4046 Williamstown Pike, Williamstown, pleaded guilty to having no trash service and fined $220.25.

* Christopher Edward Persiani, 307 Marie Lane, Washington, pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license and fined $270.25. Charges of having no insurance, traffic-control signal legend , driving on a suspended license and improper registration were dismissed, per a plea agreement. He also pleaded guilty to having no proof of insurance, leaving the scene of an accident, fined $370.25 and sentenced to 10 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on six months of unsupervised probation.

* Eric Christopher Edgar, 445 Goss Fork Road, Whipple, had a preliminary hearing waived on charges of fraudulent use of an access device, being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm and third-offense shoplifting. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court. Charges of disorderly conduct, second-offense shoplifting and trespassing were dismissed and refiled as a felony charge of third-offense shoplifting. He had a preliminary hearing waived on a charge of third-offense shoplifting. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.

* Alicia Dawn Dooley, 3524 Little Kanawha Parkway, Elizabeth, pleaded guilty to possessing a controlled substance without a valid prescription, fined $180.25 and sentenced to 90 days in jail which was suspended and she was placed on one year of unsupervised probation.

* Joseph Aaron Karr, 308 Washington St., Elizabeth, pleaded guilty to having open dumps and fined $270.25.

* Nicholas Tyler Norman, 315 Davisville Road, Davisville, had a charge of littering dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Vincent Gregory Baisi, 2007 Seventh Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance and fined $180.25. A charge of driving on a suspended license was dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Gregory Delbert Phillips, 1512 Latrobe St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to second-offense shoplifting and fined $180.25. He was ordered to pay a $50 civil penalty to the Sheetz store on Seventh Street.

* David Scott Armstrong, 55 Kitts Drive, Waterford, pleaded guilty to petit larceny, fined $170.25 and sentenced to 30 days in jail with a credit of seven days for time served. He also pleaded guilty to brandishing a deadly weapon, fined $170.25 and sentenced to 90 days in jail with a credit of seven days for time served. The jail time will run consecutively. A charge of possession of a controlled substance was dismissed. He also pleaded guilty to possessing a controlled substance without a valid prescription, fined $170.25 and sentenced to 90 days in jail with a credit of seven days for time served. That jail time will run concurrently. A charge of defective equipment was dismissed, per a plea agreement. He also pleaded guilty to shoplifting and fined $195.25. Another charge of possessing a controlled substance without a valid prescription and a charge of obstruction were dismissed, per a plea agreement.

PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court March 17-19:

* Misty Dawn Barker, 714 16th St., Parkersburg, pleaded no contest to having no operators license and having no registration and fined $350.50.

* Jamey Allen Murray, 641 Buck Run Road, Mineral Wells, pleaded no contest to speeding and fined $175.25.

* Robbie Lee Cottrill Jr., 1324 Ewing Rd., Waverly, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and fined $195.25. He was ordered to pay a $91.32 civil penalty to the Wal-Mart store in Vienna. A charge of trespassing was dismissed.

* Joshua Alan Wendelken, 2254 16th St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to having no seatbelt and fined $25. A charge of having no proof of insurance was dismissed after proof was presented.

* Bryon Brent Meeks, 647 13th St., Parkersburg, had a charge of false pretenses dismissed pursuant to payment of restitution to the victim.

* Sean Michael Adkins, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to trespassing, fined $170.25 and sentenced to eight days in jail with a credit of three days for time served.

* Sandra Lynn Price, 117 Victory St., Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived for a charge of manufacture/deliver/possess with intent to manufacture/deliver a Schedule I or II Narcotic. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.

* Sylvia Lorraine Casto, 1458 36th St., Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived for a charge of second or subsequent offenses. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.

* Justin Owen Chancellor, 5219 Briscoe Rd., Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived for two counts of manufacture/deliver/possess with intent to manufacture/deliver a Schedule I or II Narcotic. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.

* Kenneth Ankrom Jr., Williamstown, was arraigned on charges of domestic assault (warrant) and possession of a controlled substance and released on $2,000 bond.

* Christopher Don Simmons, 1804 Cameron Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on two counts of driving on a suspended license and having no insurance and released on $1,000 bond.

* Joann Kelley, 613 Locust St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of no seatbelt, two counts of driving on a suspended license, two counts of having no insurance and two counts of having expired MVI and released on $700 bond.

* Joshua Eugene Taylor, 434 Annes Run Road, Creston, was arraigned on charges of second-offense DUI and driving on a suspended license for DUI and held on $2,000 bond.

* Gage Anthony Showalter, 1406 Winding Road, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of DUI and released on $2,000 bond.

* Jason Dale Morris, 528 Crab Run Road, Smithville, was arraigned on charges of underage consumption and contributing to the delinquency of a minor and released on $1,000 bond.

* Quintin Christopher Carpenter, Walker, was arraigned on charges of domestic battery and domestic assault and released on $3,000 bond.

* Joseph Dewayne Lemon, 608 Shrewsbury Place, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance and released on $1,000 bond.

* Joshua James Robinson, 814 Clifton St., Marietta, was arraigned on a warrant for violating a protective order and released on $1,000 bond.

* Jeremiah Travis Harper, 902 Swann St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of strangulation and held on $25,000 bond.

* Creighton Jay Hoselton, 3015¢ Camden Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of possession of a controlled substance (capias) and fleeing with reckless disregard and held on $26,500 bond.

* Michael Shawn Mills, 413 East 8th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of burglary and held on $10,000 bond.

* Charles Dillion Seaford, 77 Lubeck Rd., Apt. 17, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance and released on $1,000 bond.

* Ronald Bruce Sheridan, 1600 Camden Ave. Apt. 1, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of shoplifting and possession of a controlled substance (meth) and released on $2,000 bond.

* Mahala Layne Richard, 2305 Oak St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on two counts of shoplifting and released on $1,000 bond.

* Brandon Cody Burton, 36 Dutch Hills Terrace Apt. 128, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of third-offense driving on a suspended license and released on $1,000 bond.

* Buddy Walters Greene, 4300 10th Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm and released on $75,000 bond.

* Trinity Dawn Lemley, Harrisville, was arraigned on charges of trespassing and disorderly conduct and released on $500 bond.

* Alex Christopher Wade, 9784 Slate Creek Road, Rockport, was arraigned on charges of destruction of property and trespassing and released on $500 bond.

* Lacie Breanne Sharpe, 9784 Slate Creek Road, Rockport, was arraigned on charges of trespassing and destruction of property and released on $500 bond.
